A landslide has blocked the Narayangadh-Muglin road in Chitwan since Monday morning.
The road connecting Kathmandu and Pokhara to the East-West Highway has been blocked after the ‘big’ landslide fell on the road at Charkilo, Ichchhakamana rural municipality-6 of the district at around 5 am today, according to the District Police Office.
Police say removing the landslide debris to resume traffic movement along the road would take a long time, suggesting passengers required to use the road could explore alternative routes.
The road section frequently gets obstructed by landslides every monsoon.
