Karnali Chief Minister Mahendra Bahadur Shahi has directed employees to effectively implement the annual budget plan by setting deadlines.
The plan’s effective enforcement would help achieve economic prosperity and uplift living standard of the people, he said during a meeting with chiefs of government offices in Kalikot district and chief administrative officers at local levels.
“Bureaucracy is also known as the permanent government and it is a strong part of the implementation of development plans, programmes and budget. Hence, implement the government’s policies and programmes and budget plan according to the deadline,” he instructed the employees.
Pointing out that development activities wre not taking place in line with the constitution, federalism and expectation of the people, he also urged governments at all levels to deliver effectively.
On the occasion, CM Shahi, Minister for Social Development Dal Rawal and Minister for Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives, Bimala KC also inspected the health service office in Kalikot.
