Kalikot, November 29
A jeep carrying a new mother to Surkhet from Mugu fell off the road, killing three on the spot, in Manma, Khandachakra Municipality of Kalikot district, on Wednesday morning.
The jeep (Lu 2 Cha 2003) fell off the road near the Kalikot District Hospital in Manma.
The victims include Jayarup Bimi (45) from Bhii-7, Nara Bikram Malla (46) from Shreenagar-3 of Mugu and Yadu Raj Neupane from Chandannath of Jumla.
Meanwhile, six persons sustained injuries in the accident. They are undergoing treatment at the District Hospital.
There were total nine persons on board the vehicle including the driver. The driver is one among the injured.
The District Police Office says cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained.
