Two children form the same family have died after hornet stings in Chhapali, Sayal rural municipality of Doti in Sudurpaschim recently.
The victims have been identified as Manisha Rokaya (5), and Srijana Rokaya (3), both daughters of local Bhim Bahadur Rokaya, according to the District Police Office.
A hornet from a nearby tree had stung them, making both critically injured. The family rushed them to a local health facility, but both died on the way, informs Prem Bahadur Nepali, their neighbour.
