Doti, June 18
Two children died after being buried in a landslide in Chisapani, Dipayal Silgadhi municipality-5 of the Doti district in Sudurpaschim on Thursday.
The District Police Office says Binod Bhandari, 5, from Dipayal Silgadhi-7, and Jenisha Bista, 11, from Dipayal Silgadhi-7 died when they were outside to graze their goats. When the kids were sitting below a rock while it was raining, a landslide buried them.
Locals assisted by Nepal Police and Armed Police Force personnel had gone there to rescue, but they were already dead before that.
Just on Wednesday, a 65-year-old man had also died due to a landslide in the KI Singh rural municipality of the district.
