Design

Being based on the Honda Hornet 2.0 platform, the design looks quite familiar in the case of the Honda NX 200. The front and the side have been cladded with extra parts for any road and weather conditions and to give a more adventurous tourer look.

The front light setup of the Honda NX 200 is fully LED with LED headlamps and DRLs. The indicators are mounted on the hand guard which gives a more aggressive and bulkier look. The tall wind visor gives better air dispersion and aerodynamics.

There is an under-cowl part which protects the engine and the lower portion from rocks and other things while riding. It has a ground clearance of 167mm which is comfortable enough for all kinds of roads. For a long and comfortable ride for both the rider and the pillion, the NX 200 features split seats with sporty split grab handles for the pillion. The seat height is also decent with 810mm. The rear of the adventure tourer also features the LED setup with the LED tail lamp and LED indicators.

The Honda NX 200 features the same digital instrument cluster as the Honda Hornet 2.0. It displays necessary information like the speed, rpm, fuel indicator, trip meter, gear position, time and indicator lights. The handlebar has a comfortable position with all the necessary buttons and switches to operate the bike during the ride.

Performance

The Honda NX 200 can be a perfect adventure touring bike for beginners. Being based of the reliable Honda Hornet 2.0., it shares the same 184.4 cc engine which delivers a maximum of 12.7 kW of power at 8500 rpm, making it ideal for both city commutes and light off-road adventures and a maximum torque of 16.1 Nm at 6000 rpm for smooth acceleration and manageable power delivery. With a 9.5:1 compression ratio, the adventure tourer delivers efficient fuel combustion, optimizing performance while maintaining fuel economy.

Its 12-litre fuel tank provides ample range for extended rides, while the 5-speed transmission allows riders to easily navigate various terrains with smooth gear shifts. For braking it has a 276 mm front disc brake and a 220mm disc brake at the rear for reliable stopping power. Its suspension system features an Upside Down Front Fork (USD) at the front and a Monoshock at the rear for a comfortable and stable ride, absorbing bumps effortlessly. Its 110/70-17 M/C 54S front and 140/70-17 M/C 66S rear tyres provide excellent grip on both pavement and off-road trails. The 12V, 5.0 Ah battery takes care of the electricals.
