Govt opens 24 new taxpayer service offices

Kathmandu, August 10

The government has established 24 new taxpayer offices in various districts of the country simultaneously recently.

The Ministry of Finance says the ministry added the new offices to its tax system in the ongoing first month of the fiscal year 2020/21. Most of the new offices are located in the headquarters of various hilly districts.

Bhojpur, Jaleshwar (Mahottari), Okhaldhunga, Lalbandi (Sarlahi), Kalaiya (Bara), Chandrapur (Rautahat), Sindhuli, Manthali (Ramechhap), Charikot (Dolakha), Khairahani (Chitwan), Gorkha, Besisahar (Lamjung), Parasi (Nawalparasi West), Putalibajaar (Syangja), Kusma (Parvat), Tamghas (Gulmi), Taulihawa (Kapilvastu), Chakchake (Pyuthan), Sandhikharka (Arghakhanchi), Gulariya (Bardiya), Shreenagar (Salyan), Sanphebagar (Achham), Dipayal (Doti), and Thapari have new taxpayer offices.

Meanwhile, the Inland Revenue Department also established an inland revenue office in Jorpati of Kathmandu.
