Government has failed to maintain peace and security: PSC chair Shah

Butwal, February 24

Chairperson of Public Accounts Committee in Parliament, Bharat Kumar Shah, has said that the government has failed to maintain peace and security in the country.

Speaking at an event in Butwal, Shah said that the Friday explosion in front of Ncell’s office in Nakhu showed that the government could not maintain peace and security in the country.

He accused the government of not taking threats of various organisations against Ncell seriously.

“The government has failed in all aspects. It hasn’t been able to curb down corruption, nor has it been able to maintain peace in the country,” said the Nepali Congress leader. He also added that the country’s economy was also getting worse by the day.

Condemning the attack on Ncell, Shah added that the attack put Nepal in a bad light to foreign investors.
