Kathmandu, September 24
A German national has been found dead in Thamel, one of the busiest tourism hubs of Kathmandu, Nepal’s capital, on Thursday night.
Police say the man was found dead inside a hotel room, where he was staying for the past three months.
The body has been sent to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for postmortem.
Police say he had a Nepali girlfriend and he was in Kathmandu on a tourist visa. After the man did not pick up the call, the lady had informed the police.
Following that, the investigators had launched a search mission to find him dead lying on his bed, inside a closed room.
Police have arrested three persons for further investigation.
