Fuel prices decreased

Kathmandu, June 16

The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has decreased the prices of petroleum products. According to the NOC, the price of petrol has been slashed by Rs 3 per litre, while the prices of diesel and kerosene have been lowered by Rs 1 per litre.

A meeting of the NOC Board of Directors decided to reduce the prices of petroleum products, effective at midnight on Saturday. With the slash in the price, per litre petrol costs Rs 162.5 in Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhgunj, Bhalbari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi and Birgunj. In contrast, its price is fixed at Rs 164 in Surkhet and Dang.

Likewise, petrol will be sold at Rs 165 per litre in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Dipayal. Likewise, per litre of diesel and kerosene costs Rs 149.5 in Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhgunj, Bhalbari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi and Birgunj and Rs 151 in Surkhet and Dang districts. Likewise, diesel and kerosene will cost Rs 152 in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Dipayal, according to the NOC.
