Flights diverted to Lucknow, Bangkok as high winds blow at TIA

Air Traffic Controller Unit at Tribhuvan International Airport diverted two flights, which were about to land at the airport this afternnon, owing to high winds.

The unit diverted the FlyDubai’s plane (call sign 5577), which was to land at 2.40 pm, and Korean Air’s plane (KA 695), supposed to land at 2.25 pm, to Lucknow and Bangkok, due to windy weather conditions. The TIA informed that planes will not be able to land at the airport unless the weather improves.
