Kathmandu, December 14
Five people have died in a jeep accident in Argidanda late Thursday evening.
Inspector Amrit Bhandari said a jeep (Lu 1 Ja 2653) heading towards Bahadurpur lost control and fell 500 metres off the road. Police have confirmed the identities of all five persons killed as Birendra Rana, Yanisara Gaha, Kunisara Ruchal, Rebat Bahadur GC and Bhumi Kumari Darlami.
Inspector Bhandari shares four of the deceased lost their lives on the spot while Ruchal lost his life while on the way to the hospital.
All of the deceased were from Bahadurpur Rural Municipality.
Surendra Marsangni, Dev Singh Rana, Shanta Ruchal all suffered injuries from the accident. Shanta was travelling with her three-day-old daughter. The hospital share that both mother and daughter are fine.
The injured are being treated at Lumbini Medical College, Tansen.
