Dadeldhura, April 24
Five people have died in a bus accident near Saukharka of Dadeldhura on Wednesday morning. Around 25 others were also injured after the bus (Na 6 Kha 1839) fell 100 meters off the road.
Two woman and three men have been confirmed dead, said District Administration Officer Mohan Raj Joshi.
The bus was heading to Bajhayang from Dhangadi.
The injured have been rushed to Sub-regional Hospital in Dadeldhura.
A preliminary investigation showed that the bus was carrying passenger and goods beyond its capacity. Security persons and locals worked together to rescue the passengers.
