Nawalpur, January 24
The ruling Nepal Communist Party’s executive chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has commented that the first two years of the government were neither excitingly optimistic nor pessimistic.
Speaking at a party function in Nawalpur of Gandaki province on Friday, Dahal claimed the government did some good job but commented that it could not publicise them. He also blamed the absence of party committees at different levels for the failure.
Dahal was of the view that some local governments also performed well but there were also complaints about corruption and irregularities. The party should take responsibility for them, according to him.
He urged the party leaders and cadres to remain united so that the government could perform well and the party could attract more votes in the next elections.
