Kathmandu, January 27
Now, it’s final–popular comedian duo Sitaram Kattel ‘Dhurmus’ and Kunjana Ghimire ‘Suntali’ will construct an international cricket stadium in Bharatpur Metropolitan City of Chitwan district.
The formal announcement will be made amidst a function in Kathmandu this Wednesday. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli will attend the function, during which the comedians’ Dhurmus Suntali Foundation and the local government will sign an agreement to construct the stadium.
The city government is providing 20 bigaha eight kaththa (around 34 acre) land to the project in Bharatpur-5.
They have already decided that the dream project will be named Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium.
Bharatpur Mayor Renu Dahal had made a commitment to find a land for the stadium last year.
