Far-Western University has decided to conduct online examinations of its students as the impact of the coronavirus spread is unlikely to get controlled across the country anytime soon.
Earlier, Purbanchal University had also made a similar decision.
The university has published a schedule to begin exams of bachelor’s and master’s programmes in engineering, and agriculture science streams among others from the last week of September.
As per the examination rules endorsed by the university, the university will email the questions to the students. Then, the students shall handwrite their answers on A4 sheets, capture photographs, and send back the pictures within five hours, informs deputy examination controller Prem Singh Bhat.
