Sharad Vesawkar’s Bhairahawa Gladiators on Thursday registered the second win in the match played against Lalitpur Patriots of Gyanendra Malla under the Everest Premier League.
Batsman Krishna Karki’s four led Gladiators to the four-wicket victory. Gladiators achieved the target of 142 runs at the loss of six wickets in 19.5 overs. Rohit Kumar Paudel made the ground for the team’s victory with five fours and one six in 11 balls.
Earlier in the first innings, Patriots made 141 runs at the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs. Yogesh Nagar contributed 54 runs to the team. Captain Malla made 42 runs.
Gladiators’ Punit Bista, who had contributed a half-century, was declared man of the match.
