Kathmandu, June 20

A group of protesters, apparently associated with the Enough Is Enough Facebook group, has demonstrated against the government in Kathmandu on Saturday again.

Of late, the protesters have been regularly demonstrating demanding the government expand the range of polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests while stopping the rapid diagnostic tests and it improve the condition of quarantine camps across the country.

Today, more than a dozen youth gathered near Sahid Gate and lied on the pedestrian pavement. They had carried different placards drawing the government’s attention to their demands.

Criticising some recent statements of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli that Nepalis have a stronger immunity due to regular consumption of turmeric and other spices, they also demanded that the government improve the healthcare to Covid-19 patients.
