At least 62 people injured in the Rasuwa floods are currently receiving treatment at hospitals in Kathmandu, Rasuwa and Nuwakot, authorities said.
The injuries were reported after a devastating flood entered Rasuwa from the Tibetan side of China and swept through downstream areas, causing widespread destruction and casualties.
According to Nepal Police, 25 injured people are being treated at hospitals in Kathmandu.
Four people — Bhakta Bhandari, Sita Bhandari, Bivek Kumal and Rihana Lamichhane, all from Bidur Municipality-5 of Nuwakot — are receiving treatment at the National Trauma Centre.
At Birendra Army Hospital in Chhauni, police said Dawa Dolma from Gosainkunda, Rasuwa, is receiving treatment.
Several other injured people are being treated at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj. They include people from Nuwakot, Rasuwa, Sindhupalchok, Salyan, Jajarkot and Gorkha, as well as some whose identities or addresses have not yet been established.
Police said one of the patients, Karmu Nagarkoti from Timure, Gosainkunda-7, is accompanied by a three-month-old infant.
Meanwhile, 21 injured people have been brought to Rasuwa Hospital, according to Sumitra Gautam, secretary at the Bagmati Province Ministry of Health.
Another 16 injured people are being treated at Trishuli Hospital in Nuwakot, Gautam said. Some of the injured are reported to be in serious condition.
The government has activated emergency health mechanisms and hospitals in Kathmandu and surrounding areas have been placed on standby as rescue operations continue in the flood-affected areas.
