Kathmandu, September 18
Resisting criticisms from various walks of life, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is expanding his Cabinet by inducting two more state ministers today.
The strength of the government has already reached 54, the biggest ever, and it will reach 56 today as two leaders of Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Democratic–Biraj Bista and Kamala Sharma–take the oath of office and secrecy as the State Minister for Science and Technology and the State Minister for Forests and Soil Conservation.
A source at the PM’s Secretariat says the oath will be administered today at the Office of the Prime Minister in Singhadarbar.
