Kathmandu, September 23
Some locals of Kathmandu on Wednesday staged a demonstration outside the Chinese Embassy in Kathmandu, protesting China’s alleged encroachment of a land piece belonging to Nepal in Humla of Karnali.
The embassy, however, has already clarified that the land belongs to China, and Nepal can make a verification if it wishes so.
But, the protestors gathered outside the embassy on Wednesday morning, showing placards that called China to go back from the land.
Later, police interfered in the protest and dispersed them.
