Dahal to visit storm-hit villages, to distribute relief materials

Kathmandu, April 2

Chairman of the ruling Nepal Communist Party Pushpa Kamal Dahal is visiting various villages of Bara and Parsa districts affected by the deadly storm on Sunday.

Dahal will also distribute relief materials to some of the victims, according to his secretariat.

The former prime minister will fly to Bara first, then to Parsa, and distribute relief materials by meeting the affected families, the secretariat informs.

Earlier, another chairman of the party and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli had visited the region on Monday and met those injured at various hospitals.

Meanwhile, the party leaders inform that its sister organisations are working in the field in relief works.
