The Rupandehi District Administration Office has also imposed a curfew in the district. The order is in effect today from 4 pm until 10 pm.
Chief District Officer Tokaraj Pandey said the curfew covers the area from Butwal to Bhairahawa. The decision comes after Gen Z youths staged demonstrations against the government’s ban on social media.
