Kathmandu, June 12
After the introduction of coronavirus infection insurance policy recently, the first claim has been made by a Covid-19 patient on Friday.
The claim was made by an employee of the Agricultural Development Bank, who claimed the insurance worth Rs 100,000, from Neco Insurance Limited.
The policy schemes were recently introduced after the Covid-19 outbreak in Nepal that provides two policies of Rs 100,000 and NRs 50,000 with a premium of NRs 1,000 and Rs 300 respectively. The policies are valid for up to one year.
The claims can be made with a positive PCR test result.
