Kathmandu, October 23
Bagmati Chief Minister Dor Mani Paudel, who had tested positive for coronavirus on Thursday, has been airlifted to Kathmandu for further treatment.
His secretariat, however, claims he does not have any symptoms of the infection except common cold and cough, and he is normal. “But, he has undergone heart surgery recently. Hence, he has been sent to Gangalal (Shahid Gangalal National Heart Centre),” Paudel’s press coordinator Prakash Dahal says.
A Nepal Army helicopter took him from Hetaunda to Kathmandu this afternoon. After being infected with Covid-19, he was in home isolation since Thursday.
