Kathmandu, February 8
In a bid to finalise a partnership model for the provincial government in Province 2, the Rastriya Janata Party Nepal has forwarded a proposal to the Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal, suggesting two models.
In the first model, the Forum takes positions of the chief minister and deputy speaker as well as some ministers and gives the position of provincial speaker and four key ministries to the RJPN. In the second model, the roles are switched vice-versa.
The Upendra Yadav-led Forum, which had made claims over both the chief minister and the speaker, has been given the deadline of Friday to come up with an answer.
RJPN presidium member Raj Kishor Yadav hopes that top leaders of both the parties will hold a decisive dialogue and devise the model by tomorrow.
“We have told Upendra Yadavji to pick a group of positions between two and give the rest to us.”
