Butwal, April 4
An official of the Province 5 government has been found dead in Butwal of Rupandehi district on Tuesday evening.
The body of Bishnu Hari Acharya, Under Secretary at the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Forests was hanging with a rope from a rod on the ceiling of his residence, according to SP Shyam Gyawali, Chief of the District Police Office.
It has been learned that he was suffering from depression for last few months.
A permanent resident of Bharatpur in Chitwan, he was living with three colleagues in Butwal.
The body has been taken to the Bhairahawa-based Bhim Hospital for autopsy.
