Bodies of all 7 victims of Nepal’s January avalanche recovered

A Nepal Army staffer is involved in a search operation.

Kathmandu, May 2

Nepal Army personnel have recovered two bodies of the trekkers, one each from South Korea and Nepal, who were missing since an avalanche in the Annapurna trekking zone in late January.

Another Korean trekker’s body was also recovered a few days ago. With this, the bodies of the seven victims of the tragic incident that occurred in Annapurna rural municipality-1 of Kaski district have been recovered after more than three months.

The bodies of two Korean trekkers and two Nepali guides had been recovered a few days after the incident whereas the three others were missing.
