Kathmandu, December 11

An Armed Police Force (APF) staffer has died after getting hit by a school bus in Kirtipur on the southern outskirts of Kathmandu on Sunday.

Subash Chandra Ratela, 29, died when the bus owned by Modern Indian School hit his motorbike at the APF station in ward 6 in Kirtipur.

He was rushed to Vayodha Hospital but died during treatment.

Ratela, a resident of Koteli-5, Jaiprithvi municipality in Bajhang, was deployed at the Armed Police headquarters in Halchowk.

Bus driver Manjit Singh has been arrested by the Police Circle in Kirtipur.
