Kathmandu, August 2
Hotels around the Annapurna Base camp, one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country, will re-open on August 19 this year, tour operators say.
All hotels in the area had been shud down since March this year following heavy snowfall, which destroyed four hotels in the area beyond repair, said Gopal Shrestha, a spokesperson for the Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAN).
