Kathmandu, July 9
Actress and filmmaker Jenny Kunwar has been found dead in her flat at Sunrise City Homes, Thapagaun of Kathmandu on Thursday evening.
Police have suspected she committed suicide as she was reportedly suffering from depression for at least one year. She was also frequently seen in attire with Hindu mantras at the Pashupatinath area.
DSP Mim Bahadur Lama of the Metropolitan Police Circle in Naya Baneshwar informs police also recovered a suicide note at her residence.
Kunwar had acted in several movies such as Dhoom, Maidan, Mister Don, Halchal, Ghayal, Jeevandata, Tyagi Manchhe, Hamro Milan Kahile Hunchha and Bintipatra among others.
Ghayal was her own production and its songs had been popular on TikTok.
Further investigation into the case is underway.
