Kathmandu, April 28
One woman died when two people, reportedly suffering from depression, jumped off a 50-metre wall, at Kameretar, Madhyapur Thimi municipality-5 of the Bhaktapur district, east of Kathmandu, on Wednesday night.
The deceased has been identified as Manamaya Timildins (74), a permanent resident of Biratchok, Sundarharaicha municipality-9 of the Morang district. Her son, Maturam (49) has sustained injuries and is undergoing treatment at Bir Hospital following first aid at Madhyapur Hospital.
DSP Raju Pandey says they were taking medicines against their mental condition for a long time.
However, further investigation is underway.
