UML’s Sudurpaschim lawmaker Thapa’s resignation accepted

The resignation of CPN-UML Sudurpaschim Provincial Assembly member Bir Bahadur Thapa has been accepted. Speaker Bhim Bahadur Bhandari approved it.

With this, UML is down to 10 members in the Sudurpaschim Provincial Assembly, from 11 earlier.

Thapa had been directly elected from Kanchanpur Constituency No. 1. He resigned, citing dissatisfaction with the budget.
