Bidya Bhandari visits flood-affected area

Kathmandu, October 13

CPN-UML senior leader Bidya Devi Bhandari has visited Betrawati to inspect areas affected by flooding.

Bhandari, a former president of Nepal, also inspected the flood-hit areas and a Bailey bridge constructed over the Phalakhu Khola.

The bridge over the Phalakhu Khola was swept away by the flood on August 26. A Bailey bridge has since been brought into operation at the site by the Department of Roads and the Nepal Army.
