Kathmandu, October 5
Former prime minister Jhala Nath Khanal has announced the Samajwadi Jagaran Abhiyan. He announced it at a press conference in Kathmandu on Monday, along with his departure from the Nepali Communist Party.
The first assembly of the Khanal-led campaign also passed 15 resolutions. They range from reviewing national policy in light of disaster risk to the ideological restructuring of the communist movement.
