Nepal Army Chief Ashok Raj Sigdel has left for China on an official visit. According to the Nepal Army Headquarters, Sigdel will be in China from September 13 to September 19.
During the visit, Sigdel is scheduled to attend the 13th Beijing Xiangshan Forum to be held in Beijing.
The visit is expected to further strengthen military relations between Nepal and China and contribute to Nepal’s foreign policy through military diplomacy, according to the Army.
During Sigdel’s absence, Lieutenant General Pradeep Jung KC will assume the responsibilities of the Acting Chief General of the Nepal Army.
