The bodies of seven people who died in the Bhotekoshi flood in Rasuwa have been managed in Tansen.
The bodies were found in Nawalpur and brought to Palpa for management. Following a meeting of the District Disaster Management Committee, the seven bodies were managed at a community forest in Gorkhekot, Tansen-1.
According to Palpa Assistant Chief District Officer Shivaraj Sedhai, seven of the eight unidentified bodies brought to Palpa were managed in accordance with the prescribed standards after their DNA samples and identifying details were recorded.
The District Police Office, Palpa, said the bodies included those of three men, two women, a boy and a girl.
The body of one woman has been identified. It was handed over to her relatives who had arrived from Nuwakot.
