The body of a customs officer who had been missing following the floods in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa has been found in Gorkha.
Nakul Sharma, an officer at the Timure Customs Office in Rasuwa, was found dead along the bank of the Trishuli River on the Gorkha side, according to DSP Raj Kumar Shrestha of the District Police Office, Gorkha.
Sharma was a resident of Tajakot Rural Municipality-2 in Humla. His family received the body after a postmortem examination.
So far, the bodies of 65 people have been recovered from the coastal area along the Trishuli River on the Gorkha side.
