Seventeen films received production permits from the Film Development Board in Shrawan. Both new and veteran filmmakers have obtained these permits.
Saurabh Chaudhary has received a permit for the feature film “Samrajya.” Saugat Malla, Dayahang Rai, and Nazir Hussain are already signed on for lead roles in this film.
Director Deepak Lama has taken a production permit for a film titled “Feri Bhetaula.” Shraddha Prasai is set to direct “Dear Kabya,” featuring Upasana Singh Thakuri.
Director Rishi Lamichhane will be making the film “Ujeli,” starring Sabin Shrestha and singer Yash Kumar, among others.
Akash Adhikari will produce and direct “Kohinoor 2,” the sequel to the hit film “Kohinoor.” Uttam KC will produce the film “Champa.”
Chandra Panta will make “Aamako Kaakh,” featuring Bipana Thapa. Samrajyagya Shah’s film “Ekka Missy Badshah” has also received a production permit.
Desh Bhakta Khanal will direct “Pinjada 2.” Samrat Basnet will direct and produce “Singhadarbar.”
Upendra Bahadur Yangdembe will direct “Bakhatte,” starring Bipin Karki and Miruna Magar in lead roles. Besides these, several other films have also received production permits in the month of Shrawan.
