Kathmandu, August 13
Former Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has returned to Nepal. He arrived at Tribhuvan International Airport at around 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. Deuba had travelled to Singapore with his wife, Arzu Rana Deuba, for medical treatment after being seriously injured during the Gen Z protest on September 9 last year.
He returned to Nepal after five and a half months. A large number of leaders from the non-establishment faction of the Nepali Congress gathered at the airport to welcome him.
Deuba was seen waving from his vehicle and accepting traditional khada garlands from supporters.
