Kathmandu, October 4
The government has imposed a three-day restriction on vehicular movement into and out of the Kathmandu Valley.
Ram Bahadur KC, Head of Disaster Operations at the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority, said the decision was made due to risks posed to travelers.
A statement issued by the Authority also noted that, considering continuous rainfall, highways leading into and out of Kathmandu Valley have been completely closed.
