Kathmandu, January 5
A man has died in a road accident in Kupandole of the Lalitpur district in the Kathmandu valley in the wee hours of Wednesday.
Raju Tamang (31), a resident of Chhampi in Godawari-9 of the district, was riding pillion on the motorbike (Ba 95 Pa 5334) that hit a utility pole on the roadside and fell on the road at around 1:15 am today. Seriously injured in the accident, he died at around 3 during treatment at Patan Hospital, according to police.
The bike rider, whose name has not been revealed yet, is injured and is undergoing treatment at the National Trauma Centre in Kathmandu.
