Kathmandu, December 10
A 19-year-old girl in Bauddha of Kathmandu has cut off her boyfriend’s penis after they had a breakup.
The Metropolitan Police Circle in Bauddha says the 21-year-old man, currently working for a hotel in the capital, sustained serious injuries in the incident. He is undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit of Om Hospital.
“There is an injury in the girl’s hand also,” DSP Ramesh Bahadur Singh informs.
“The man refused to continue the relationship citing his family would not accept it. Then they agreed to meet for the last time, during which this incident occurred,” he adds. It has been learned that the man was a Christian whereas the girl was a Buddhist.
The girl has been arrested. Police say they will file an attempt to murder charge against her after investigation.
