Kathmandu, November 5
The 11th edition of Yak Attack 2017, an international mountain bike race, started today from Bensishahar, in Western Nepal.
The event, organised on the Annapurna trail, is considered the highest mountain bike race in the world.
A total of 31 competitors from 10 countries including Nepal are competing in the race that will go through Thorong-La Pass, Muktinath, and Jomsom before concluding in Pokhara.
The competition will run for 10 days.
The winner will pocket $1,250, while the first runner-up will win $750, and the second runner-up $500.
