Kathmandu, September 8
Two people were injured after a car carrying a minister hit a motorcycle in Banewshor, Kathmandu on Friday afternoon.
According to witnesses at the scene, the car (Ba 1 Jha 6163) hit the motorcycle (Ba 48 Pa 9250) near a crossing in the area. As the rider and the pillion rider fell on the road, Minister of State for Communication Tapta Bahadur Bista opened the door of the vehicle and ran away.
Bista admitted to Onlinekhabar that he was in the car when the accident took place. “I had to run because things were tensed. I am also human. I have been following up on the accident.
The injured have been identified as Sahadev Shrestha and his aunt Anju Shrestha. They are receiving treatment at a local hospital.
