Kathmandu, June 3
Police arrested Narayan Prasad Khanal of Dailekh district with 3.5 kg of hashish, at Balaju Bypass, on Friday. They made the arrest while Khanal was about to sell the narcotic substance.
Khanal had brought the hashish from Makwanpur district. A police probe has revealed that Khanal was running a hashish factory in Makwanpur. He used to sell the drug in India and Kathmandu.
At Thamel, drug traffickers sell hashish to foreigners for Rs 25,000/kg, according to police.
