Kathmandu, May 8
Police have arrested seven suspects involved in robbing Bishal Sah of Janakpur of Rs 82 lakh. A team from the Metropolitan Police Circle Swayambhu nabbed the seven in connection with the crime. Police recovered eight lakh rupees from them and said a search for the remaining sum and others involved in the incident is currently underway.
On April 19, a group had robbed Sah of Rs 82 lakh at Yellow Gumba in Swayambhu and fled the scene. Sah had informed police about this incident a few days later. Police have brought Sah under the purview of investigation for not reporting the incident immediately after it happened.
