Kathmandu, July 22
The list of seven best books shortlisted for the Madan Puraskar has been made public. The Madan Puraskar Guthi issued a statement on Tuesday announcing the names of the top seven books.
The shortlisted titles include: Urmal by Chuden Kawimo, Chhalabato: Kailashdekhi Gangasamma by Ramesh Bhushal, Darjyu Sanlap by Kumari Lama, Panchtatwako Palam by Manprasad Subba, Bahurupi by Shreyaj Subedi, Bhikshu, Byapar ra Bidroh (Nepalko Bhot–Chin Sambandha ra Bharat) by Sudheer Sharma and Hiuko Geet by Tirtha Gurung
According to the Guthi, these seven books were selected from a total of 299 submissions. Among them, one will be chosen for the prestigious Madan Puraskar, said Guthi Chairperson Kunda Dixit.
