Kathmandu, April 18
The Bibeksheel Nepali Party has announced to field 21-year-old Ranju Darshana for Kathmandu Metropolitan City’s Mayor in the upcoming local level elections.
In a statement issued today, the party said, “She has been selected as energetic youth generation is the most appropriate to internalise the dream of making Kathmandu the world’s beautiful nation and to lead the campaign.”
Candidates for the Deputy Mayor, ward chairpersons and members would be selected later.
“Together we can make Kathmandu a beautiful city of the world,” the aspirant said, “I have expected your support for the same.”
Darshana is currently studying at the Bachelor’s level.
