With 18 new cases on Friday, Nepal Covid-19 tally hits 267

Kathmandu, May 16

The Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed nine new cases of coronavirus infection on Friday evening. With this, the number of Covid-19 patients in the country has reached 267.

The Ministry’s joint spokesperson Sameer Kumar Adhikari says four people of Parsa, three of Dang, and one each in Kathmandu and Udayapur got infected with the virus.

Earlier in the morning, the ministry had reported nine new cases of the disease, taking the tally to 258 from 249.
